hey guys, just really curious bout the P800 in the James bond movie..it was a silver one right? was he using it with or without the flip? wht was he using it for in the movie?

bad guy used it to take a pic of bond, emailed it to one of his people, to identify that bond was a '00' secret agent. flip off, standard blue colour i think...

Yes it was a standard P800 but the lighting makes it look kinda blue grey like the P900 look.

A mineral grey p800...
note the obvious colour difference between main body of phone and sides and camera.
A silver p800 before general release, note the silver colour with the silver its and the silver on top of the silveriness...
Furthermore, who cares about interploatedpixelflandgeguffabites and their intercontinental optical mange buckets or what every you said its silver, so ner ner with knobs on.
Also, dont 'shout' it make you look desperate.

customer service, they say that they don't have it and that it's not meant to be replaced...
I guess I'll just have to go through with my idea and paint it!

your service center just doesn't carry it. i purchased a set from my service center and changed my P800 to mineral grey. try another center.

its digital graded the scene in the movie was shot in cornwall (in an army training camp) it was a bright day they (ian tamghori and his bitches) wanted it too look seedy and dark so they applied an effect known as digital grading. Which made the minneral grey p800 look like what it did in the movie. The P800 was still a prototype SE gave a special pre production unit for filming purposes. Which was the dropped colour minneral grey (as you know SE went for the blue variant) How ever the released several batches of the minneral greay P800 for the public and many housings were avliable but theu have all died out and hard to come across.

thanks jowi, there's a shitload of facias for P800 on ebay...but SE Canada says that they're not meant to be interchangeable, thats besides the fact that they don't carry any!

beware the shockingly bad quality of those housings they look nice for a week then the paint rubs off.

they are not interchangeable in the sense that SE never meant for them to be changed like Style Up covers for the Z600. but they are sold be SE as spare parts for damaged phones and can thus replace the electric blue parts. an SE service center sold me my kit and did the installation too.

the mineral grey P800 has been discontinued. you can get replacemnt housing very easily, look on google.
