this happen back in 2011. the Nokia N97 Mini was connected to PC, during a firmware update/backup/restore when the cable was pulled. After that The phone no longer turns on, not even the Nokia screen show up. I tried the Hard Reset.
pushing the back button, space button, shift button and power button at the same time until the Nokia Screen pops up. nothing happen.
When connect to a micro usb cable, a white light on the side indicate that it's charging. When connected to PC, it try to install the Nokia USB Rom driver, but always failed. it constantly try and retry.

I need to try to fix this myself if possible, sending it in is not an option at the moment. The owner have very personal information on the phone that they don't want others to see. (Don't Ask)

It's okay as long as the memory is completely wipe out, as long as it starts working again.

Please Help me here.

After 3 years you get asked to fix a phone? Take a hammer and bang it to pieces. Use a magnet to wipe out the data and throw it in the bin.
