But I was thinking something that had atleast the charger integrated into it and possibly the video cable also...Im thinking that I will probably have to fabricate something myself again but it seems like an easy thing for companies to add on...just make it to where the video plugs in first then slightly swivels into the holder and push the charger in???

I bought a universal one from eBay that expands and retracts for my X1, now that the X1 pile of crap is gone I have a X2 to replace it (sighs in disappointment). Anyways, it fits perfectly fine in both vertical and horizontal positions.

I recived this one today and it works like a dream and very easy to install - the base mount was the same as for my P1i - I bought the passive one for 30€
