Facebook App for W995

Is there anyone with a W995 (Brown cert) with the latest fw R1HA036 who can extract the mentioned app? I'm quite bummed that the new fw doesn't allow manual installation for the Facebook app I've been using since the last fw. It's strange that after the fw update my APAC-ANZ doesn't come with it while another phone with the same CDA and fw does. Actually it does allow manual installation, it just doesn't integrate itself with the phone anymore, ie. able to log on but I can't view any of the pictures, there's no Facebook link for 'send to' in the photo gallery which used to allow me to upload photos directly to my Facebook page etc. Am kinda wondering if any of you kind souls could help me out with this. TIA

i've tried to extract the fb app via a2uploader but unfortunately with no success probably due to the red cert limitation, but the most disappointing issue is as mode mentioned even though with the same cda, fw and region the app is not available on some phones

@hihihans
They only have the generic homescreen which doesn't integrate itself with the UI's menu like the default main app
@mallacra & Junz
Thank you so much for your help guys. I've installed it and for once after the fw update my W995 feels like a complete phone again

u cannot extract out as it is a CID53.

only by generating a .bin file would be able to do so by using this, CodeClaw DB3210 CID53 File Xtractor 2.0.

thanks momoki, i'll try that and search around for more info...

AFAIK, you can't Read CID53 with RED cert but you can do so with BROWN cert which has less security features.
@malaccra
Just wondering if your default app comes with the Facebook widget?

The facebook application has always been in the Applications section of the phone, but I noticed that with the latest software update [1215-7995 R1HA036 091216] it now appears when you go to Messages, it is just below "Inbox".

Perhaps just doing a software upgrade will bring it up without the need to do all the procedures for modding it?
