Last night, I was in the midst of trying to read a text message, when my phone had said all my text messages had been corrupted. I used to work for t-Mobile, and the first thing we're told to advise is a reboot, which I tried.
After switching the phone off, it refuses to turn back on.
If I remove the battery again, and then hold the power button, the keypad will light up momentarily, and then go blank again.
Is there anything I can try?

You've got to reinstall your firmware. Try SEUS first.
