Let us know how fast it is in comparison to the X1 (if you've had one). The Engadget review mentions that despite the 1GHz CPU, it only feels marginally faster. I'm interested in some end-user opinions on this (not that I'm even remotely in another Windows Mobile device).

yes. i will certainly do that. and while i did read the engadget review. i read a few others. and frankly engadget has a way of saying "if it ain't iphone"... it ain't worth their time. at least sometimes. oh well.. it's got a 1ghz. and i'm betting that'll run tf 2.5 way better than my x1 does. or every could. i can't stand running tf on my x1 as it usually hangs somewhere along that slide bar. mayb not everytime. but it hangs everytime the first time you pull it out of your pocket and unlock it... so annoying. i'm very excited about the eXpo i'm hoping the camera is nice. and i'm really hoping the keyboard continues to work longer than the three months my x1 keyboard lasted before it started repeating characters. LG's made a few keyboards by now. i hope they've got it figured out.
best part about me getting this phone. was. i opted to NOT use my upgrade and buy the phone from ATT outright. only because they wanted an extra 20 bucks for the same data plan i get with my x1's sim card. haha just cuz it's not a device they sell i only pay 10 for unlimited data. oh well. i may have payed more than the subsidized price but they aren't gonna squeeze an extra twenty out of me every month FOR the same thing i get now. just cuz they f**ked up their network with the dam ifail doesn't mean i should have to pay to fix it...

Actually AT&T will probaly automatically adjust your account to the smartphone data plan because you are using a device they sell (you bought the phone from AT&T so..) As soon as you pop your SIM in the Expo, AT&T will know you are using an EXPO (ie. a smartphone) without the appropriate plan. Your plan (I do it) only works with devices they don't sell. Not sure when they will swtich you, but watch out.

well thanks for the warning. i'll def keep an eye out for that.
they better not. because i went in and spoke to the manager at my local store directly about NOT wanting to pay more just for using my upgrade. i mean they don't know i'm using an xperia now. it's a smartphone. idk. i hope they don't. i'll have to go in and take that managers balls if they do try and switch my data plan..
