The SE phones have Active Sync option in Synchronization. Use that to sync with Google email, calendar, and contacts.

Try this LINK. Even though it says windows mobile the settings are same for SE phones when you use Active Sync. I use this. Only drawback with SE's active sync is it can't get the contact pictures from Google Contacts.

You no longer need it as Google started full exchange support. The only reason anyone want GooSync is if Active Sync Profile on phone is being used for office email. Only one Active Sync profile is allowed on the device(Exchange limitation).

I set up my W715 to work with these Exchange settings successfully. However, after some time, maybe a week or two, the sync fails and I have to delete and create a new sync profile in my phone. Does anyone else experience this?

Actually it is only the mail part of Exchange that fails. Calendar and Contacts work.

I wonder whether someone still uses the w715 considering the mighty response

A solution that works fine for me is to use imap to fetch mail from google gmail and exchange active sync to sync calendar and contacts. Has worked fine for me now for weeks...
