Unfortunately W995 is not Real Audio compatible unlike most of the latest SE handsets.

I have the W995 R1EA032 firmware from T-mobile UK branded version.
Are the other firmwares actually different, or are they just the branded versions of the generic one?

I had just update my firmware to R1EA033 from www.sonyerisson.com and I don't feel any different on it...

What is the difference between R1EA032 and ...033? I have 032 and when I search for updates in my phone it says that I have the latest FW.
In a future FW upgrade I'd like smaller font size or the possibility to change it my self.

With Update Service you can update your product software for optimal performance and get the latest enhancements. Regardless if you have the latest software, it is a good routine to run Update Service to improve software stability.

Never trust the OTA update service.Tried several times and it said I had the latest firmware... Tried on the SEUS and updated without problems. Anw so what's new in R1EA033???

If there were to be a new firmware update the letter would change
R1EA --> R1FA
Otherwise it's just an other revision of the same firmware usually dedicated to operator specific needs R1EA032, 33 or 34, etc.

Just installed R1FA035 successfully, but then trying the A2 uploader. Never done it before. I get failure when holding in C while connecting the phone. I do this with the phone off. See attached pic.
Am I doing anything wrong?
