Mps-30 (reviewed with c702),

Bass, 7.5/10, has a ok bass sound, nothing great sometimes a little quite, will disort slighly on max volume with certain types of basslines.
Treble, 8/10, trebles ok nothing great but perfectly fine,
Volume, 9/10, this little speaker is certainly loud.
Sound quality 9/10, overall very good a mega improvement over any built in loudspeakers.
Radio quality 10/10, it's perfect for the radio has a great signal and very good sound.
Design 9/10, looks very nice has a retro look, though i'm not sure if the radio antenna was a good idea.

Design
The mps-30 is a small portable speaker from se bundled with the w350 it is designed to be a replace for the phones built-in loudspeaker, you can buy them seperatly, seperatly they cost £10-20 and are very good value for money.
It's lightweight & very portable easy goes into any pocket, even fits in my pocket attached to the phone, there is a cover to protect the connecter which fits on nicely unlike se's fastport covers.
The radio antenna, is a small wire wrapped around the speaker it's not very praticle & once unwrapped is difficult to wrap back round properly.
The speaker is avaible in a 3 colours, white&gold, black&silver, black&purple. I think the black and silver 1 looks the best followed by the black&purple then the white&gold.
The build quality is very good, very solid even the cap protecting the connecter is very well fitted, only issue maybe the radio anntena which could be pulled off easy or if not wrapped arounf properly get caught on something.
The styling of the speaker looks quite retro se pulled of the retro look well with the front speaker cover the se logo fits niclely under the speaker cover.

sound quality
The speaker uses 1 full range neodymium speaker module same sort found in other mps speakers but about 1mm bigger.
The volume is really very good, can hear it with the wind blowing & even next to a busy road i could still hear it quiet well, has loads of volume for a speaker of it's size, walking down quiet streets it was filling the whole street with sound.
The volume range is very good you can have super quiet, meduimish volume, loud or super loud.
The sound quality is good for a speaker of it's size, it's sounds bigger than it actually is, has a decent amount thump it vibrates the phone even though when at max volume with some basslines it did disort it didn't like some rap & dubstep basslines but was fine with d'n'b & grime the highs are perfectly fine aswell, the sound is kind of well balanced but a little towards the highs & mids at times the bass is there but not very loud as you would expect for a speaker this size.
Radio, the radio sounds great the radio repection is top 2x reception that the headsets give.

Compared to other mps speakers
Has slighly more volume but the mps60/70/75's have better more balanced sound & better sound clairty don't replace your other mps speakers with this keep them aswell.

Overall
This speaker is designed to replace the loudspeaker and be portable it does this very well, 1000 times the power of any loud speaker and super portable.
If you like to listen to music out your phones loudspeaker then this is for you buy it quickly.
On the downside all the volume & sound comes at a cost it will drain the battery very quickly it really likes to eat battery.
I am more than pleased with this speaker a powerful cheap pocket solution for good sound out of a phone.

disadvantages:
-eats battery quickly
-badly designed radio antenna
-disorts slightly on max volume with some bass sounds

advantages:
-price
-volume
-radio
-portableness
