Mobile operator, Orange Guinea is to send a text message to every single one of its subscribers to promote a health campaign being run by the NGO Helen Keller International which aims to distribute vitamin A tablets to 1.5 million children in the country.
The Orange Foundation working closely with Orange Guinea is supporting the campaign, which will be carried out by 3,000 health workers and 3,000 volunteers on the whole Guinean territory, from 13th – 17th June 2008, during the “National Week of Children`s Health”.
