when you use macro the flash goes off? what a.....!? i love my clara. well, you can reduce the EV setting to get the pic with less over exposure as possible.

Posted by Frubin
@ tranced: Well where i was taking the picture was bit dim so i guess the phone used the flash to compersate for the light. Ok. Whats EV settings?

when you are in camera mode, you can use the joystick to adjust this by moving the joystick to the left(less EV) or to the right(more EV)

Posted by Frubin
@ tranced: Ah i know what you mean. It's a little symbol with a +/- and a sun that appears when the joystick is moved up or down and the number can either go up or down to increase or limit the light exposed.

I know its down to the individual parents but it might not be a great idea to post pictures of kids up on the internet, what with all the weirdo's out there in the world.

Posted by Coquito
i know k800 en k810 has the same camera, but i like more pictures from k810, i think pictures from k810 are better.

@staz - Nice shots ! What happened with the cam . . . Did you have it fixed?

Posted by Rookwise
@jojo. My k810's active lens switch has broken, phone gets too hot and discharges the battery rapidly, bluetooth wont work at all and the keypad has stopped working. i've got to send it off on tuesday to be repaired under warranty. Still got my P1i to play with though in the meantime.

This message was posted from a P1i

@staz - Ohhhhhhhh . . . I now remember this unit of yours pal . . . the one with the BATTERY-issue . . . I hope that it will be FIXED soon, so it can be used back again in action !

thats actaully true. k810 have a more optimized camera-software then k800, (i asked support some weeks ago). they said it makes k810i camera little faster and little better. i also "see" that k810i takes little better pics, then my old k800.

i was in my local CPW yesterday and happened to notice this strange looking pink samsung u600

Posted by abbafan1972
CPW definitely mean it when they say "you won't find this phone anywhere else". It's a Samsung U600 cunningly disguised as a W810i.

Yeah my cute little sister has everything Hello Kitty. If it has Hello Kitty on it, she's got it!

Just got my K810 a week or so ago, and I'm really excited over it despite the fact that I own a Cybershot T5 (5.1MP).

Let's prove that you don't need a fancy new SE-K850 in order to take nice pictures!

I like to see nice photography from around the world!

Here are my contributions. I took these pictures the day I bought my phone and on my way home. I was about to get on the bus, but then decided to stick around downtown (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) and try out my new toy. I've yet to master the settings, but I'm getting there!

Reflections off of buisness buildings, downtown

Canada Place

The roof that sort of resembles the Sydney Opra House

From a further away, looking at the harbour

Cheers!

dream house ?

Picture from work.

Story goes that when they were constructing the building (back in the day), a moose got stuck while erecting the wall, and it was impossible to free him, so they just kept on laying the bricks, and now that moose that got stuck is a permanent fixture in our building.

Yes, it's a bad image. It actually is the first picture that I took with my camera, and I was drinking, so I had no clue where the settings were and how to use my phone yet. My harbour pictures were taken after.... if it matter.

I'm so itching to take more pictures now!

Got a little bored today. There were a lot of shiny things on my bed, so I thought I'd play around with the reflective case for my iPod a bit.

been doing some work in our garden.

The shed in the picture is coming down and we are making the area into a nice patio, the shed was covered in ivy though.
