i presume its for a diff country, but a lil code editing should enable texts to be sent to the UK

I couldn't get it to work? I experienced the following problems:
* It kept asking for a 10 digit number, the number I was trying was 11.
* Clicking the back button to check my number cleared all of the details I had entered.
* The message box was very limited but for a free service I'm not complaining.
* Did not want to leave my number - some information on how my number would be used would have been useful.
When it works I'm sure it will be good.

ive had a quick look at the HTML and it shows that the max number of chars is 11, hence why it wont with the UK atm,
ive edited the code, and upped it but it doesnt work
i presume i need another page once the send it button has been pressed that proceesed the message! but seeing as though i cant send a message, it could be difficult!

Nothing is stored, the optional number is so that the person recieving the text message will know where to send it back to.

Hmmm,
Let me work with it and see whats up.
It might be that the your service might not be supported as of now. Ill check and add the mods as needed if they are available.

Update.
I recently found out, the method Im using to send these text messages may NOT work with UK services.
I do know American services are working fine and some UK services.
Trust me, Im looking into this so that as many ppl as possible can utilize this service.

When I press SEND, It asks me to put a FROM number in, but the original screen says it's optional AND it wont let me enter it even if I wanted too !!!

Hmmm,
Thats odd, cause I just had 4 people here test that without the from number and it went through fine.
Are you sure you didn't accidently enter a character or something in the from box. That would cause it to ask for a number there. Cause the way I have it coded, if you don't want to place nothing there, then you can just skip it, but if you do want to place a number there, it has to be a vaild number.
I just tested it, and it ran fine for me and 4 other people here with me.
Im not saying your wrong, Im trying to smash all bugs. and if this is a vaild bug, I need to fix it now.

When its up and running, a nice addition would be to create an i-frame for people to add to their websites which would allow them to use your service through them.
A bit like the imageshack one which will allow you to upload images via image shack....
You could add your own logo to it and the word will spread rapidly.
If you did, you could also add it to the PHPbb forum as a forum mod, Im sure loads of people would add it.

Hello,
I placed the warning about us not paying for legal purposes, cause you will still be charged if you "Recieve" text messages and so forth. but sending them through my site will be free. I just have to cover all areas legally.
As far as adding this code to other sites, Im working on that now and a way to add this to different sites. I should have that fully coded by next week. and Ill have a look out there how to simply intergrate this service into your own site.
Many Many Features are coming, including support for other services in other countries.

SMS Gateways aren't free,
But your carrier charges you to send messages and to recieve messages. My software allows you to simply send formatted emails to the proper sms gateways so that the proper person gets it.
Its all about formatting and sending the email to the proper gateway in the proper format.

Yes,
Its possible, But at this time Im basically trying to define and stablize the script and add full UK service support.
American services are covered, so Im now focusing in on UK support and then expand from there.
Also finalizing the ability for others to insert a simple form into their site and then will be able to use our service.
Also, A huge thanks for everyone who is helping me spread the word and those who has even placed links to textme.cc on their site.
