took a k700 for a test drive at an o2 shop today and i had only 1 major gripe!! i had always been impressed by the t610's midi sound quality, full of rich detail and very lively. so i transfered a midi file 'disco inferno' onto the k700 and it sounded really crappy, was ALMOST as bad as a nokia or samsung!! was really disappointed with the k700's midi renditions, 40 channels polyphony don't mean shit! the mp3 sound great tho, oh well.
the rest of the fone is brilliant, the gui is much faster than i expected, real impressed there! and super real tennis WOW!
SE could do with turning down the compression on the video capture, an option on the next firmware release i hope. video too jerky and compression artifacts were wahay too appparent.
does anybody know what the applications folder in the file manager is for?? it's not games cos games has it's own folder there already. does this mean that the k700 can have other than java apps? lets hope!
anyway i still fackin love the fone and i'm patiently waiting for it to be released on orange.

Ok, as enjoyable as this thread has been it really is repetitive and people cannot find the answers the want so easily, and this was proved again last night.
