The exposure time is longer in Open Camera, while the stock camera seems to always choose high ISO values over longer exposure times.

@Bonovox, it's just an open-source camera app on the Google Play store. You can freely try it of course. I've not tried other third party camera apps so far, you may be able to achieve similar results with other apps. The problem with the stock app is that it seems to always use very high ISO rather than long exposures. The advantage is that you're less likely to get movement blurring, but the big downside is, as you can see in the other picture, the very "muddy" and grainy look of the picture. Partly because of the extreme noise-reduction that the stock app uses to counter the noise from using the high ISO.
