On the K750, which directory are files transferred via bluetooth saved in?

They're saved in whatever folder they're meant to be saved in according to their file type.

Pics go in your pictures, themes in themes etc.

thats what i thought too. but i transferred an MP3 via bluetooth and now i cant find it anywhere in the 'sounds' or 'ringtones' directory?

try the folder "other" .. usually when the file type is not recognized, it goes to that folder but it should recognize mp3

Try searching the phone using the SE file manager.

Maybe if your phone is branded, it has DRM copyright protected firmware that wont accept unsigned mp3 files ?

You might want to try a PC based program like the My Bluetooth Places (windows BT functions), File Manager (in the SE PC Suite) , FMA or MyPhoneExplorer to look for the file.
Nokia 3xxx -> Ericsson T20 -> Nokia 6xxx -> SE T68i -> SE K700i -> SE K750i -> SE K800i

thanks for the replies. I found the file saved on the top level directory of the Memory Stick. Strange it wasnt visible via the phone and I had to move it via the PC file manager into the 'audio' directory ...

in firmwares r1l002 there is an "mp3" folder
