I've been readung the thread http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=95662&start=165
and decided to try it. How ever! I have installed the phone with there drivers ect but when I get round to debranding the phone it just turns on and thats it. I eventually push stop and it tells me the elasped time but does nothing to the phone. Normally when I plug my phone in it just connects right to the memory stick and not via the PC suit so could this be the problem? If not im stuck with usless credits I cant use!

Thanx in advance guys

You mean while doing the - press 'c' then plug the cable- action?

The drivers may not have installed properly. You will have to remove them and reinstall them. This can be tricky. What OS are you using?

Its nice and simple to un-install the drivers, then just re-install with the correct drivers

When I plug the phone in it does not offer me to re-install just carries on working as normal. I need to remove them first so that the phone will ask for the drivers again. This I do not know how to do. Sos if I sound stupid guys

unplug the cable and phone then restart your computer. Now go the the control panel, performance and maintainance, system. click on the Hardware tab then on device manager.

Here is where it gets tricky: When you plug in the phone 'while pressing 'c' a new device will appear I think it was 'K750i' or something. You may have to expand some of the device trees (try USB controllers) to see it. It will appear only very briefly then disappear! (this happens with incorrectly installed drivers) You have to right click on the device before it disappears then select uninstall.

If you are successful restart the computer and plug in the phone agian (still pressing 'C'). It should ask for the drivers again.

Hope this sorts out your problem!

Possibly an easier way -

When you installed the driver, XP would have set a system restore point, as the driver isn't microsoft signed (the bit where you get the continue installation message). If you haven't done any other installations since then, you could try to just roll back to before the driver was installed. To roll back go to Start>Help and Support then select "Undo changes to your computer with System Restore".

Good luck
