When I whant to phone a friend I only can task the first letter. Why canīt I like all old phones task a serie of letters? Have like 15 person in the letter "F" so everytime I have to go thru every name, but in the old phone (T610) I could task "F Annie" or "F A" and I will get the name direkt...

Does anyone know if I can change this to the old style??

But do love that u can add birhdays and lots more =))

No fault in the phone, its do to with the regional firmware, for example in Europe it seems to be able to do multi letter searchs (ad = adam) but with the Chinese version some people have been having problems with this multi letter searches. Hope this clarifies this point a little bit anyway.

press this code into your keypad (also > = joystick right & < = joystick left)

>*<<*<*

Then go to - service info - THEN - software info - and the code that looks like - R1L002 - is the firmware.

Thats mine = R1L002, its the latest K750i firmware and mine can also do it

It's not he R1L firmware bit thats important, it's the regional info on the next line. Mine is EU_3_C. Some regions don't support multi character inputs.

precisely, mine is CHINA and has Chinese and Vietnamese language options and does not support multi-character search.
