If anybody's interested, new version of "ReadManiac" is capable to open and read e-books in txt format directly from external card.

I've installed but it always ask for reach to read/write the user data. In program options has no way to choose "don't ask me" . The program would be great if this problem doesn't exist..

you don't need extra software to read txt files on the k750. just stick the txt file in the others folder, and press view.

I was also mainly impressed by this feature. Second nice feature is 'PalmOS DOC' format support, a lot of e-books are distributed in this format.

Is there any way to avoid that and allow the ReadManiac to R/W user data at its will?

Because it's totally unusefull if not!!

About the annoying pop-ups - if I understand it correctly, it's not problem of 'ReadManiac' application, but K750i itself, stupid security limitation when accessing its filesystem.

Added: But yes, it would be nicer, if 'ReadManiac' will be programmed not to access filesystem so many times when running (just when it's really necessary).
