Does anyone here have the HBH-610? It's available to order on Expansys but nobody seems to have it yet.
I'm looking forward to get this myself as it would be a great addition to my new K750i. If you have it please post some feedbacks! Thanks.

I will rather wait for SE to launch a totally new headset with connector that is same as k750 when i purchase my next mobile. Hbh610 does look match nicely with my good old t610

It should be out within this few weeks as fcc have posted the product break down meaning it have get approval from fcc

I doubt they'll do that, the width of the Fast Port connector is much much wider than the previous generation connector.

Tested some HBH-610's about 6 weeks ago. Unfortunately we couldn't approve them for European use as the auto-volume adjustment sometimes adjusted the volume so high it nearly deafened us!!!
New ones should be in to test this week.

New HBH-610 headsets was okay'ed on Monday and have been approved.  released them to AP region on Tuesday and they should be available Europe probably 1st week of October.

The HBH 610 is now available I have just purchased four, I am once agian completly frustraed and dissapointed with SE, they always seem toi improve one aspect of a product and screw up another, The Version 2.0 software seems to offer a much better connection with the phoone and the ear piece volume seems improved than on the hbh 300 but the noise cancellation is none existing. It shocking in the car. Why do they always get in wrong????????????? |

I don't see tht is not possible....the old connector also come with different design when they apply it for BT headset......SE have so many engineers so someone will have an idea on how to do it....lets wait and see  |

I'm really hoping the ones you got were a fluke. I'd like to order one tomorrow but I'm looking for more feedback since sony has released some technology such as my navitus remote - tons of great technical possiblities but then they just buried it with no updates whatsoever.
The things I'd like to know about if anyone has one is -
How is the volume in a noisey car? Can your callers hear you? Can you hear them?
How is the clarity? Do clients know you are on a headset? how do they sound?
Is there any echo?
Any issues with it dropping connection?
Does it answer immediately?
Is the loop and the earpiece comfortable?
Can you put eargels on the earpiece?
Have you tried it with any PDA/phones to test voice command? |

Well well looks like this is already available in Ebay in large quantities. I just ordered one from a seller in Hong Kong. Will do a small write up once I get this.
And speaking of headsets, I can't believe my last BT headset was HBH-15 and I sold it within a months for profit.
