hello, i am just wondering which one is the more popular brand in the european country, nokia or sonyericsson?

Definitely Nokia even if I do not like to admit that. But good thing is that soon (I feel) SonyEricsson will take over the popularity polls in Europe. |

Definately Nokia (at this time) but every day Sony Ericsson are getting more customers from what I can see so far both companies are producing excellent quality phones.

From what i know european figures are different from worldwide... Siemens has the leadership in europe for 2001 with 29% while nokia follows with 27%. Ericsson was third with 20% although its worldwide share is a minimal 5.2% |

Loonee, I think it will be better for you to roam on SFR network in France. I used them when I was there and there coverage/sound quality was definitely better than Bouygtel and Orange
