Gclarke Joined: Jun 17, 2004 Posts: 1 From: Smollan PM	Posted: 2005-07-29 15:15 I am trying to use the V800/Z800 as a 3G modem for a HP IPAQ. The IPAQ is not able to use the phone a modem for some reason. Is there a specific AT string that I need to enter in order for it to work?

chaple Joined: Jul 08, 2005 Posts: 10 PM	Posted: 2005-07-29 17:59 not sure if this helps as i don't know what network your on but some of it might still applies. i contacted o2 data support to findout how to setup my z800i as a high speed modem for my laptop and was given the following initialisation string +cgdcont=1"ip","mobile.o2.co.uk" to enter in my phone and modem options in control panel also was given code 93**3# to dial. don't know if its the combination of the string and the dialed number which invokes high speed data.
