Hi

I am having a problem sending files from my pc to my K700i, each time i do so i get the error message telling me that my phone is not responding even though its bluetooth is turned on, also it states:
"If you sent the file to a Bluetooth device, make sure the OBEX File Push Profile is installed."

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Many Thanks

Does your PC have inbuilt or are you using a adaptor. If you are using a dongle, does the dongle support the OBEX profile? There should be an option in the BT software menu to view and enable/disable services that you want to use....Also you may need to create a serial port before you start doing file transfer

Care to explain how syncing helps file transfer or OBEX profiles

OKay...right click the icon in your taskbar...open settings...there should be a tab which lists out all the BT services supported by the device....just make sure OBEX profile & File transfer service is checked....then reboot phone....search for phone from pc...and then try sending the file..

if your dongle is installed right, it should give you a bt icon in the taskbar..try uninstalling and doing a fresh installation
