Hi there good evening, hope you guys can help me out I cannot use my unit to send out a fax nor receive a fax via infrared which is connected to my Jornada series which has a built in fax software. But everytime I try to use it there is always an error message " Program aborted on errror ". I have already refered my concern thru my service provider and they told me that according to the switch board everything seems to be working in order.

In the course of the operation it is able to connect to the phone it even dials the fax no then it starts to negotiate the connection, after being connected for a short period suddenlly it will be disconnected from the connection and then the error message will appear. Getting connected to my pocket pc via infrared in other functions such as uploading of stored messages from my phone to my pocket pc as well as the contacts database are all successful. It is only in the field of the Fax perse that I am having problem.

So I ended up using my nokia 7650 to send out a fax and receive one. Correct me if I am wrong but the way I see it I should be able to use it to access my fax right, hope you can help me out i need a reply ASAP.

Furthermore if I cannot use my infrared to access it, can I just buy a bluetooth card to be inserted to my Jornada they are selling it here they claim with it I can interfaced with any bluetooth enabled mobile phone and can access my fax anytime as well as surf the internet. Would that be a lot faster and more convenient than using the Infrared .

I notoiced when I choose to use the infrared to send out an sms message while hook up to my pocket pc and it is in my pocket pc that I typed the message then send it out it takes a long time before it is received by the receipient. Is this normal? so is using the bluetooth card instead would be more feasible?
