I understand that R2AT firmware from Da Vinci doubles the BT speed. Is there any other download to increase BT speed other than using this debranding/unlocking firmware? I don't need or want to debrand my phone, I just want faster BT. I currently have R2AE033 firmware, the latest available in NZ.

The latest firmware is R2AY004 - this increase the BT speed.
This is released not only on Davinci, but also on the official SE update site which is a Global site. You should be able to update from that regardless if youre in NZ, unless theres some operator branding preventing it. If your device has some operator branding preventing this, you either need to wait untill an official branded firmware is released or use Davinci to unbrand/flash.
