Hello

Sorry to ask this, i spose its been mentioned millions of times (i searched be couldnt find much), but shouldnt there be a sticky post about firmware on SE phones. It could include:

how to see what firmware you have
how to get the new firm (ie downloading it)
how to install it, whether its with a cable, IR, or BT

i spose the reason i'm asking is that, i want to do it with my t39, and i dont know the answers to the questions above

If anyone could set up a sticky post answering those 3 questions for the individual SE phones, that would be great....

or in the mean time - if you feel like emailing the t39 info to: seb@sebtek.com, that would be great!

How to see what firmware you have
Press > * < < * < * ( where < is left arrow key and > is right arrow key)
Then go to Service info -> SW information

How to get the new firm (ie downloading it)
You can't get it, the firmware is only available to the authorized servicepoints.

How to install it, whether its with a cable, IR, or BT
See the answer above...

All theese questions have been answered before... just use the search function to find earlier threads

ohhh well, thanks then.

the problem is, that all the places the australia SE site states are service centres - it would surprise me that they would uograde phones...

but i'll see

call helpdesk instead... they have better information on where there are servicepoints...
