Ever since the custom ringtones came into the picture, i have noticed that EVERY ringtone that you get everywhere is always a song, or some actual melody converted to a ringtone. I dont know how many would agree, but i kinda think its really stupid to try emulate a song melody into a single channel midi kind of a sound! most of the times one can barely makeout the song! what i really prefer to use is variations of the standard ring, or some kind of hightech blips, beeps or things that make your phone sound like a techy gadget... and not a broken radio! ok ... polyphonic rings are being supported in many fones now, but still... how many of u guys open up winamp and listen to midi songs?? and how many of you people have seen a device in a science fiction movie playing robbie williams when it has to send an alert?

I tried looking for "normal" sounds, such as probably startrek tricorder sounds etc for the fone and i never found any. I was just thinking how many of u guys agree with me... and if any of u do, they why dont i see any tones like that? I think my t68 isnt just a fone... its a rocking lil piece of gadget!! and i want it to sound like one!! any one know of any place where i can find soch tones?
