Does orange care cover accidental water damage?

Also how long do you have to wait after joining orange care before claiming - realistically - without them getting p***ed off

Many thanks

I think you will need to look in the offical terms and conditions for confirmation, but for memory, it does not. However, when my phone took a plunge, I just rang up and cited symptoms without referring to the fact it had gone in water. They diagnosed the phone was faulty and I got a replacement. Simple as that.

It makes absolutely no difference when you ring the. It can be the afternoon you purchased the phone for all the person in India customer call centre cares.

There's nothing in the Terms to exclude accidental water damage, but you do have to claim within 24 hours. You are also obliged to act with due care in looking after the phone and take all reasonable precautions to prevent loss, theft or damage. You also have to pay a £15 admin fee.
