How would i know that the IR of my laptop is functioning? |

Activate the IrDa on the phone and on your laptop, then select an image or anythink else u want 2 send 2 your phone, Right click on the file on your laptop and select SEND TO' then select A NEARBY COMPUTER'. Then except the file on your phone and that should be it.

Thanks! but it seems that the IR in my laptop doesnt work. after right-clicking the file, i dont see 'send to'. im also asking, how would i know that the IR in my laptop is functioning? it seems like it doesnt exist!

go into Control Panel, should see an icon for Infra-Red, self explanatory from there.
