I've noticed that my phone ain't got them...
For example the "* & right softkey" for unlocking the keypad that can be seen here on SonyEricsson.com:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/s[....]10242&zone=pp&lm=pp1&pid=10242
Do I have to fix some settings or something? I've searched through em' all (I think) but I can't find any settings for switching this feat on.

I hope someone can help me.

I was really disappointed when I noticed. Believe it or not, but that was actually one of the reasons I bought the phone.

i posted this topic up ages ago.....and yes i was disapointed that it didnt have that feature too

those light up for a certain action to be performed.....in dat case, it was to key lock da pad/dial......However, certain keys do light up if u were playing games for example (thats what i read sumwhere) to show what buttons to press to control the game etc

man... that's a dissapointment.
Lets hope they'll implement it in a future firmware.

the site is in swedish perhaps so i don't understand it.

@scaleo, is it that your "* right softkey" will not lock/unlock the keypad? mine does. or i completely misunderstood your post?

@arnoldc,

I think what scaleo is suggesting that in the video right at the start just the two keys to unlock the keypad light up before the rest of them.

Basically it looks like the two keys required to unlock the keypad would light up if the keypad was locked to guide the user in the dark...
