when I send an SMS to e.g. radio station, wheather forecast, traffic info, I receive many, many SMSses back within appr. 3 days, with irregular intervals. When sending an SMS to another GSM, it's no problem. Has anyone experienced the same and how was it solved?

I had that recurring same SMS happened to me once too, but that was when I roamed from Asia to the US. Apparently the roaming deal between a US network and the network of the originating SMS was not quite defined/doggy perhaps, such that my T39's acknowledgement of SMS receipt never reached the sending SMS network back in Asia, hence the originating network kept retrying until it timed out at 50 tries. I used to get an SMS every couple of hours or so for a whole darn week. |

(captainsm) suggests that you need the latest firmware R2E006 or newer. Do you have this version on your phone?
Having a new phone doesn't guarantee you do, you will need to check.
