Hi, i already wrote this down in another topic but maybe somepeople experienced the same of know a solution...
As the title says, i flashed my dutch orange branded phone to an unbranded one with firmware K750i_R1L002_FS_EU3
the cda was originally CDA102338/24 R20A, but according to guides i changed it to CDA102337/11 - Europe3, this was needed for SEUS to work ik says, but....
the flash worked well, 10 euro is a very nice price for it, but now my seus doesnt work anymore.....
this means that with every new firmware update from SE i have to pay 10 euro's and there's no fun to that at all!!! are there people who expierenced the same or do have a solution for this??
Thanks a lot
Grtz Bastiaan

There is still no-one that knows exactly (apart from SE) what makes SEUS decide if you can have an update or not.
It's possible it's looking at the IMEI of your phone and the firmware that's on there now and deciding you're not allowed an update.
If you're going to use Davinci or any other tool, you have to be prepared to accept the "risk" that SEUS won't work, or that if it does work it will rebrand your phone (I've seen this happen with a V800 converted to a Z800. SEUS flashed it back to Vodafone Live!)

i can't really imagine SE stores all imeis and every legal shop that can alter the firmware can change that easily on the server :-/
as i posted in the other thread there something really strange in my phone... i flashed eu1 to eu3... the software info says i still would have EU1, but cda has changed to that one for EU3, also the firmware that's really on the phone is eu3...
maybe davinci doesn't change this section (yet)?
well, nobody knows what's going on in that seus software... did anyone tried logging the data seus send? |

There are two bits of firmware you flashed to your phone (or if you didn't, you didn't debrand it correctly)
The first is the region, this will have been EU1. This doesn't denote language.
The second is what's called the "Default language", this is what would have been EU3.
Paste the whole contents of your FW Version screen here please and we'll see what's really in your phone
edit: People have logged the data, yes. Current software version, IMEI and CDA are all sent to SE.

the mainflashfile i flashed was "K750i_R1J002_MAIN_EU_EMEA.DVT" there was no eu1 or eu3, just eu_emea... the FS file was "K750i_R1J002_FS_EU3.DVT" well... i don't mind unless it works, i posted the things from software version in the "debranding possible with davinci" thread |

Yes, that's the "EU1" firmware, which then uses the standard EU3 language pack.
That's why your first line reads "EU1" in the firmware info.
