Yes; email can be received and sent via WAP. If you have a POP mail account, it will work on both:
1. http://mail2wap.com
2. http://webcab.de/cgi-bin/wwmm.cgi/

Foy Yahoo, go to:
1. http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/raw?dp=mail&src=mail1&Referer=yahoo

@ AYA:
could you please clarify??
I have a free yahoo account, and I would like to receive emails to my K750i. I understand that is not possible, unless you have a POP3 account with Yahoo... Is there a way to get your emails to ur phone without logging into wap.yahoo.com, and signing in?!

If you do not want to use WAP to access your mails (those links I gave are WAP links), the alternative is to use the built-in mail client, but you must meet the following requirements:

1- since you dont have GPRS, your network must support and offer CSD (Circuit Switched Data) that allows you to dial-up to access the Internet. If they do, get the settings from them

2- The email account you want to use must be POP3, not web-based. Free Yahoo accounts are web-based. To enable POP in Yahoo, you have to take up a paid subscription (at least in my part of the world)

@mrao:
so with Bluebottle does the K750i fetch your emails without the wap access... in other words, could you access your emails by going to the "Messaging" menu >> "Email" >> "Send&receive" on the K750i?? That would be cool.

@neox...yes, thats exactly what it does
Just go to messaging>Email>Bluebottle Account> send/receive
and it'll start downloading all your e-mails from Bluebottle....best part is that pop3 accss is free with bluebottle......you do need to have web gprs enabled on your phone though....plain wap access will not work
