I am trying to figure out the settings on my new k750i for the multimedia messaging and internet use, i've gotten everything else to work(although can't set up email yet) I've contacted cingular and they havn't been able to help and i've downloaded all of the settings from SE but it says its still not able to connect. Is this because of the gsm850 is controlling that feature, or could someone tell me EXACTLY how to imput the settings I've been working on this problem for about 2 days and im starting to get frusterated but managing to keep my cool. Im also one of those people who is hoping that everything is working out with a phone not released in the us

Interesting. I've got the same problem. Bought a K750i and use Cingular. Downloaded the WAP settings from Sony Ericsson but I still can't get onto the internet. Anyone have any suggestions or a fix?

Hello.

i had problem to make my tomtom go 300 using internet. I finally found that i need a DATA connection. I mean subscribe a data "forfait" (french term).
I thought i had data forfait, but my "multimedia 20Mo GPRS" is only for Wap and MMS which is not the same !!
Now that my tomtom go can use the internet connection, i tried to add mail account.
And they work fine.

To sum up, Email account use data connection, not Wap GRPS. so you need to subscribe a "forfait".

I had some problems with Internet and Email on my K750i via TMobilie. I did download the settings from SE's website (MMS, WAP, but not email)... I was able to send MMS, and now I can browse WAP sites. As for email, you must have a POP3 email account to receive your emails on your K750i. But as for WAP, you should be able to access the net. Check your phone setting and your service provider (Cingular) if they offer GPRS with WAP, not GPRS only.

TMobile offers tzones serivces; i still havent been successful in getting that to post on my phone.

Hey guys! If you're on Cingular, for some reason the K750i settings don't work. Go to the same page though (SE global support) and select K700i as your phone, cingular as your service, and have the settings for both WAP and MMS sent. I did this with my K750 3 weeks ago and have been using WAP and MMS heavily ever since, with no problems at all. If it doesn't work for you, shoot me a PM and we'll figure it out. Don't bother contacting Cingular, as they have no idea!

Unfortunately K750i cannot access the Tzones homepage until the phone is supported by T-Mobile USA

I was able to access the email link on T-Zones by checking the URL on a T610 and then sending that URL to the K750i. I suspect it works for the other T-zones services as well.
