I've got a feeling all he has done is registered his sim card and you know the first month you get free month's allowance, I think that is all he is receiving and in a months time he will receive the text saying "I hope you have enjoyed you first 30 days free allowance..."

My cusin told me that this is what he did (didn't mention recieving a reply)
And that his "top up aniversary date" passed, and his text remained free without him topping up, usually they charge him 12p after this date.
Hmm...not sure why it isn't working for some, i'll ask him for more deatials later tonight.
Anyone else got it to work?

Ask him if he had any credit on the phone when he did it 
And if it was a Brand new 02 SIM, i.e he had not topped up on it before

Iv'e got like a tutorial thing how to do it, my m8 does it and says it works, was thinking about giving it a go myself.
If mods don't want this here please delete it
Ø O2 SIM CARD UNLOCKER.
1 Firstly you must have an o2 sim card installed into your mobile phone. (Must be the 300 texts per month sim!)

2 Please note that there are different o2 sim cards, the 300 a month
means you have to put £10 in every month to receive your 300 texts.
Ø
3 Once you have topped your sim card up with some credit you will
find you have the following; £10 worth of talk time,
300 wap minutes, 300 texts.
Ø
Ø 4 Take notice of what date it is on your mobile phone when you top up.
5 Use your phone as normal for that month or until you run out of
texts.
6 Once you have run out of texts, reset the date on your mobile
phone to the date when you first topped up and DONT USE YOUR PHONE THAT DAY!!
(Meaning don't make a connection with anyone with your mobile but
leave turned on!!)
7 The next day you can change your date settings back to normal.
8 Now all you have to do is wait for the new month and you will receive a message from o2 saying"THANKYOU FOR TOPPING UP, YOU NOW HAVE YOUR FREE 300 TEXT MESSAGES"

9 IMPORTANT!! Matter where about in that month you run out of texts,
You only (ONLY!) Get a max of 300 texts per month so make sure you
don't run out halfway through the month as you will have to wait till the
start of the new month to get your free 300 texts. And you can do
this over and over again!!!

I tryed that for 3 months running I think every month it failed, then one month I think it did work as I had free texts for 2 months and did not top up I dont know if it was related to that, but I enjoyed the free texts for the month |

Text unlocker does work but you have to put in your own details.
So if you're name was john smith and u lived at 112 (house number) in postcode IP1 1AA you would send "Mr John Smith 112 IP1 1AA" to whatever the number is.
