just goto th nokia case centre and if your under warranty them they do it for free . . . Always 
by the way the latest version for the 6680 that i got by updating recently is- ver 3.04.12, date 25.04.05 ver RM-36

@paulbang ..I have the same version of firmware...so i think it is already updated. I only have problem regarding email.. do you know the configuration of email settings? I hope there is email tru sms(its easier to do email) but i dont know where?
