hello

does anyone know how to delete all the videoDJ protected files and the picture in the pictures folder and all the crappy ringtones and the crappy themes..etc

i need to make my phone clean

any ideas ?????

on my old k700i, i try to upload the same image to the phone with the same file and hoping it will replace over the file in there but all it did was made the file names like this
Sony Ericsson(1).jpg < becomes the new protect file
but it allowed me to delete the Sony Ericsson.jpg
as you can see it just made it more anoying

even after i master resset the phone the file was still there.

even if i uplaod another file with the file name
Sony Ericsson(1).jpg it just made another file Sony Ericsson(1)(1).jpg and so on...

so i dont recommend this trick on the k750i because im not sure if it will do the same.

any ideas??

the same problem with me. i really want to get rid of those protected files of the k750. i did try the 13 sec trick but still, the files are there. a master reset wouldn't do the sollution either.
are you on the list?

the files are installed with firmware customisation packages. pure SE phones will have different content from say a vodafone handset. If you can flash to a non-branded firmware, you will have less undeleteable crap, but even SE include some.

Ah, the voice of sanity. There is not such thing as a completely free or empty phone. The operators are moving hard and heavy into the branding areas more and more.

N82(YES), iPhone 3G, Shure es530, Nikon D300, more stuff. No more SE stuff, why am I still here?

It won't even let you move the protected files into another folder. It would've been tolerable to move all the protected stuff into your own folder instead of being next to all the subfolders in the pic, movie & sound folders.
