This is going out to all my fellow k750i users. Recently i have started to notice the cam button on my phone start to corode a little, im not sure what metal the button is made from or whether any of u k750i users are having a similar problem. Ive had the phone now about two months and dont feel i used the camera enough to warrant this.
plz let me no if anyone else out there has this problem.
many thanx. |

My one dosen't have this problem.
Are you sure you haven't scratched the surface of the button allowing the metal underneath to corode ?

I dunno mate, sounds a bit dodgy to me, unless you have scratchedor dropped the phone i'd take it back and get a swap, its definitely under warranty anyway.

Is the button really made of metal? It looks like plastic with a chrome finish. |

As said, its not metal corrision. It is plastic with chrome finishing and it might be that that finishing is wearing off. Could just be because of the way you carry it (i.e. does it come in regular contact and slip with something hard like keychain etc.) |

well i bought it 2 months ago, used it for three days and then went to dubai for 5 weeks leaving phone at home in box. There should be no reason for this as it has had very little use. Does anyone no %100 what the button is made from? |

its plastic coated with a chrome finish. the only way it could wear is continued use i.e. 2-300 times a day... i have taken over 500 pics with mine and the button hasnt faded or changed in any way what so ever.
if it has been scratched a little then that could start it to blemish an ultimately wear off.... |

i'd take it back an tell them u want a replacement as its a manufacturing defect. |
