I want to update my K750i because my camera doesn't work anymore, the people at the store said i could update my phone tru the official Sony-Ericsson site, but this doesn't work, it always says Unknown Error....
Can anyone help me fix my camera:(???

Find your revision number by entering the combo on the menu (< and > are directions on the joystick)

just send it to the service point, they'll repair it for free like mine, took only 1 week. |

Updating the firmware wont fix the camera, it is likely that you have one of the batch where the camera connector is loose. You can either open up your phone and disconnect and reconnect the camera cable or send it away to SE repair centre.
I fixed mine my taking it apart. |

I don't know which numbers you mean, i know that >*<<*<*, but which numbers do you mean then, there are lots of them...
And i just can't run the update on SE official site, that doesn't work, i want to know why and how to repair it... |

Dont believe the story about the software. I emailed SE support about the camera issue and they said it was a firmware issue, but i fixed my phone by taking it apart. I'd love to know how they are going to fix that in a firmware update. |

Me too had the same problem but got it replaced.out of hype its not right to buy a first batch of any se phones.

I'm don't know what it is, but at the store they said it was the sofware, so i first wanna try that....
But it just doesn't work through the official SE site, and i wanna know why or how to do it another way...
And i'm not taking it apart, that's for sure:P... It's way to precious to me:P... |

Just take it back to the shop and demand a replacement then, even if it is the software thats hardly your fault.
You are entitled to a phone that works correctly. |

Yeah i know but the probably have to send it to a service point, they said that i would get a replacement phone for 2/3 weeks and get my own one back then, i don't want that...
First i want to try the sofware problem but it just doesn't work:S... |

why do you go on about trying the software update.
If you tried the SEUS update site and that doesnt work for you, then its obvious you need to get it to a service centre. There are no other free ways of updating the software.
Only other alternative is buying some logs and flash it using Davinci, but somehow I get the feeling you are not quite up to this task, and could damage more than you fix.

I'm going to get it to a Service Point, i have to, but i'm just wondering why the ypdate doesn't work, if it's a simple setting or anything, i could do it myself....

baby-face: As has already been posted, it's not a firmware issue. I'd like to think it's pretty obvious people posting here have a much better idea than some guy who job it is to sell phones, how would he/she know?
Anyway, have you turned off any firewall or anti-virus software (which these days often has some werid network/firewall crap built in) when you try the update? That's the number one reason SEUS doesn't work for people and rather than given a useful error message it just spits up "unknown error" and dies.
