Ive just bought a brand new Se K750i sim free which ive put my orange sim card in but though the phone works great i found various 02 things on my phone.
If i go into menu the top left icon is a 02 logo that tries to connect to 02 internet and theres 02 screensaver, power on and off screens aswell anyone else had this problem ???
I have managed to get rid of some of the 02 stuff but dont know how to remove the 02 logo that goes to the internet yet. |

So it is unlocked from o2 and not therefore simfree....
If you are not happy.... I would recommend you take it back....

Don't think you can do that mate
Try installing a new firmware over the phone and see what happens. But maybe you should just bring it back to 02...

No ive bought it as sim free its not supposed to be registered to any network and its brand new from livetelecom.
It works ok on my orange sim card but its just odd that has a loads 02 stuff shut as start up and shut down screens which i got rid of the startup one but still have the shut down screen.
I also have the 02 thing in top corner of the menu screen too that i cant get rid off i have updated through the sony site but its still has some 02 stuff any ideas how to get rid of all of it ? |

all o2 phones are unlocked, but they have o2 firmware on. You won't be able to use the SE update service either. Its an o2 branded phone mate.
Return it, or unbrand it thro Davinci as I did, about £7.50 if I remember. |

Get in contact with Livetelecom and arrange to send it back. Unless they specifically list the phone as the O2 version then they sold you a dud. They currently list this as SIM free with no mention of O2 anywhere on the K750 page. |

I got my k750 from Livetelecom as a sim free handset. Was one of the first batch they had. Mine's got no branding whatsoever. Sounds like they sent you a branded one there. Only way to remove the branding is to reinstall the firmware with the non branded version.

Yea exactly my thoughts it should have had no mention of any 02 on my handset settings , screens etc: ive emailed them saying about it having 02 stuff on it and how do i get rid of them as i dont want a 02 branded handset i paid for a unbranded phone.
If they dont come up with some way to get them removed then im sending it back .
