Howdy doody everyone.

My previous phone was a Nokia 6100 PAYG on Orange UK. Yesterday I placed an order for a SE K750i on o2, with BT headset, £30pm line rental, 500 free txts and 200min free a month.

Its quite a step up Can someone give me pointers, advice, tips and tricks to getting the most out of my mobile? Free txts, unlocking stuff, adding stuff etc..

I'm a mobile noob, and you guys and gals here seem to be the complete opposite. Any tips and.or advice is welcome.

Nice website you have Hope you enjoy japan, not long to go.

To make the most of your phone have a quick browse through this topic,

Then just post any questions you still need or want answering here or there and someone will answer you.

Congratulations on your new phone as well, its a fantastic choice and you won't regret the step up. Never go back to Nokia again also.

actually, what would be the best way to get my phonebook from my 6100 to my K750i?

I dont have any cables or connections for my 6100, so it would be either IR or swapping the SIM (everything is stored on the SIM). Suggestions?

Hmm...if you have everything stored on the SIM, just swap the SIM....and copy from SIM to phonebook on the k750

You shouldn't have any problems with the sim swap. O2 seem to leave their handsets pretty much standard and although i could be wrong, therefore don't restrict who's sim card you put in... e.g. the orange one...

If it had been the other way round you would have had problems buy you'll be fine

Hi, I've just ordered my K750i from O2. Does it come with any cable, or do I need to buy one to update firmware etc.? Where can I buy one?
