Mp3s volume low although setting is max - K750i |

Does anyone else have this problem? I'm yet to understand why the phone exhibits this problem or bug. Ear piece volume is fine and so is everything else. Its been just a day since I got this phone and I've already started feeling jittery about this. My last phone, the N6230i was a very bad experience and I had to go thru hell with Nokia to get my money back. The strange this is that my brother has the same phone, same firmware and his mp3s player at a noticeably higher volume with same equalizer settings. He upgraded his firmware because his phone was amongst the first few and mine by default came with the latest firmware which is R1J002. Is there anything that can be done or should I take it back? Man this sucks, the first K750i I got had a joystick problem and I had to wait two days. And now, this volume problem. |

I've had a similar problem wth my 6600, seems that some tracks just play louder than others.

It's simple. It dependes on the bit-rate of the song, the genre and other settings of the song, rather of the phone. Get a program that enhance the mp3.

No man. I dont think its a bitrate thing. I'm comparing here with the default soundbytes given i.e. Feel it, Da Voiz, After the rain and Higher. Its definetely lower than my brother's phone when played together. He said it was exactly like mine before he got the firmware updated. The strange this is that I have the same firmware. |

Have you tried the service menu? I've not tried it on a K750, but on other phones you can increase the volume beyond the normal maximum with it. |

Also there is an option in the media player for the equalizer, just choose manual and turn all of those up to max
Other wise if you know what your doing you can edit the songs on a PC using mp3gain to increase the normal playing volume. Any further problems or just questions feel free to ask and we'll all do our best to help.
