C2Doom for Series 80 (Nokia 9500/9300) by Markus Mertama is probably the best mobile doom available. Full audio, up to four players multiplayer modes over bluetooth, Doom shareware, Doom1, Doom2, TNT and Plutonia WADs supported and many other features as savegame exchanging and reconfigurable keyboard mappings. And it's free!

Available for download at My-Symbian

err... but the file seems corrupted. Won't install on my 9500

@DS: Search for "WAD files" or "WAD" in Google and you'll find quite some.

To install any application on your 9500, copy it to any location on your phone and simply click on it. The Installer will kick in and take you through the process. Those warning messages about apps being unsigned or probable incompatibility are standard, so just ignore them.

If you have the app downloaded to your PC, you could also use the Nokia Application Installer in PC Suite to install it on your device.

Odd. What browser did you use? Here's another page you can download from: http://mobile.my-symbian.com/7650/download/newest_mobile.php

Just click on the "C2Doom" link on the page.

Okay peeps! There is now a functional version of this available for download at My-Symbian. I got myself a shareware Doom1.wad file and ..... the game rocks!

Great graphics; cool background music and action sounds. Go get it.

BTW, anyone have any other WAD files?

@madmobiles: Not on your life Certainly not when I have my handy one-in-all Nokia 9500.

The only electronic games I play are those that can be played on my mobile phone. If a game does not come with any phone I use, and cannot be installed on it, chances are I will never play that game. Gaming does not rank that much on my list of priorities. That's just me

Anyone understand what is meant by "secrets" on Doom? I'm pretty good at killing the bad guys (not bad for a pastor! ) and picking up items, but so far my records on "secrets" read zero. Anyone?
