Help! I tried upgrading my S700i using DSS-25 via SEUS. Eveything went well, but at the end, it said error in communication. no my phone will not turn on. actually, all it does when you press power is vibrates and seems to light up, but will not continue to power up! What should i do, I tried recovery mode, but still no luck! Is my unit dead forever?????!!!!!!

Your phone is not dead, It has to be flashed. Once it is flashed it will function normally again.

@vtr have you tried updating using recovery mode? The exact same thing happened to me. I had to send mine away to be fixed as it is still under warranty. I did try recovery mode but it always lost communication at around 64%. But I would give it a go if I was you.

I had the same problem. I tried recovery mode a few times and after a few tries it went through 100% and then the phone worked fine again :-) Best of luck to you m8! Be persistent you must.

Thanks guys!, well, I sent my phone off to Sony Ericsson. According to them, it requires re-customization and will take a couple of days to fix. am crossing my fingers and hope to hear from them in 2 days. will update board on what happens.

Am keeping my fingers crossed!

I've had SEUS kill my K700 at two occasions, even though the update went through without any errormessages. First time I sent it to S//E and waited 6 weeks to get it reflashed, second time I just used Davinci and did it myself, did a recovery and a flash, worked like a treat.

Im done with SEUS, Ill only use Davinci in the future.
