Error after flashing k750i with DaVinci |

My father bought me a SE k750i at the airport in the Emirates, without Norwegian T9. I downloaded DaVinci, downloaded the flash-files and set the CDA to 102337/12 Europe4.
After the flashing procedure was finished, the program was apparently trying to connect to some server. Here is the log:
--------------16.07.2005 23:07:38--------------

Error: 0x001111
When I started the phone, the PIN-code screen appeared, but when I wrote something in it, the numers didn't appear, and when I pressed OK it said it was something wrong with the configuration.
Then I tried flashing it back with the original firmware on sonyericsson.com. First I tried Automatic verification mode. This said something about my operator not permitting this action (it worked a couple of hours earlier, when I updated the original firmware, before this mess).
Then I tried Recovery mode. This seemed to go fine, but when I started the phone after the flashing, the same problem with the "invinsible" letters occured, but when I had entered min PIN-code and pressed OK, it said that the PIN-code was wrong, and I have now only I try left.
After that I tried the DaVinci flashing again, this time with CDA 102337/1 EMEA1. I have no idea what CDA is, but this settings was set as default, so I tried this to make sure the CDA wasn't the problem. It wasn't.
As I was writing this I retried the Recovery Mode procedure, but it didn't work this time eighter.
This is really important for me. Can anyone guide me through getting my original firmware back, or even better; explain to me how I can get Norwegian T9.
Thanks in advance.
ADDED INFO: I am now trying to flash it with EMEA6 firmware, which was the one that came with the phone.

same here, flashed my k750i with davinci's flasher. after configuring what has happened then i found that we have to pay for it. the davinci's guys give you their mod firmwares for free but don't tell you that you have to pay one file for finalisation, you, we need the file to finalize the process if you don't have it then you mess your phone!.
I sent them email three days a go but the time i write this post i haven't got any answers yet! somewhat sloooooooooow!
Mine totally useless! I even tried recovery mode through SE website but no luck and nobody can even help us here.

your really cool guys, first break, than start reading. Topic should better be : "I not payed and now my phone not work"
Why you 2 guys using a program on a 400 euro phone, withiut reading a manual, maybee best to start here:

Dont talk about "not trust these guys" ,if you did read before you used, you knew what was happening!
To repair your phone just need to do finilazation. No way to repair it via recovery mode, or seus. Currently only way is via davinciteam.com (via DCU60) or go to a professional unlocker near you, but he will charge you most likely a little more, than 10 euro
If you feel your ready buying a credit, goto www.davinciteam.com and use instantlogs menu. 10 seconds after paypal verify the payment you will get username + pass to directly use the client |

I have updated my last 4 SE Phones with davinci. Their software is fine, if you read around these forums its clear that you need to pay for firmware updates (finalisation step) or unlocking etc....they do need to make some money for the R&D put into continually updating their service to provide these functions for us...
They support all the phones, all the firmwares and have improved their software and have to provide bandwidth to download everything ... things cost money ... don't expect to get things like that for free unless you go to SE |

Very well, but they should adjust the program so that they check your login _before_ you have flashed the device. I understand that they want to make some money on this, and €10 is a fair price, but they should mark this better on their front page.
If someone here can confirm that I will get original Norwegian (Nordic) firmware with Norwegian menus and T9, then I might pay'em.
Thanks for the clarification though, good to know this is not a hoax. And yes, I will read more carefully the next time (actually my 2nd time in this mess, last was with a Siemens ST60 ) |

You can check you're login before you proceed...click the "info" button , it will tell you how many creds your login has
Sorry you had a bad experience but generally its a good product...the new version even presents a drop down list of all the valid CDA codes so you don't have to search the net for them ... very nice addition |

One week has gone now, and the new firmware seems to work perfectly fine. I flashed my little brothers phone as well, and he's not experiencing anything wrong either. |

I bet they'd love to thank you for not reading the manual.
What a silly thread.

Can you tell me where it says that unless you pay, the phone will not be working until you do? There was no manual that came with the program, and no indication of that this service costs money on the front page. But yes, the manual is there, though not on the front page, nor does it come with the program. Nice program, if you search the page carefully. |
