I tried to flash the firmware of my new T630 to get rid of the operator stuff and put the phone to factory spec. Summat went wrong and now the phones dead, wont even switch on. I used the Total Multiserver site i followed the instructions, got the right unlocking cable etc. but something went wrong. The error code generated by the software was 0x002508 (means nowt to me!). I have since tried to contact Multiserver 3 times via E-Mail, they aint talking! Any thoughts appreciated other than the obvious, dont piss about with yer phone. Out i can do? Can it be fixed? Will the Multisever crew be beemed up and anal probed for a week by space aliens, to make my day!

get DIV and a terminator dongle, much better for older phones than multiserver.

Would this allow me to repair the phone. the problem i am having at the moment is the phone doesnt want to power up, could the battery have been Knackered by trying to flash the phone in the first place?

Take it back to where you got it from. Say the software died but don't say you tried to flash it yourself. They should replace it, if not they'll tell you to send it to SE Postal repair centre, send it there and tell them the software died, they will fix it.

SHouldn't have used multiserver in the first place. Use pbbse12_crippled (free to use) with your T28 cable and rebuild everything.
