6600 is based on the Nokia series 60 2nd edition based on Symbian OS 7.0s
6630 is a far more advanced device based on the Series 60 2nd Edition Feature Pack 2 (Version 2.6), based on Symbian OS version 8.0a
While the 6600 is a decent value for money multimedia phone, the 6630 is a far superior device....It also has EDGE which the 6600 does not...

Anyone has the idea how much N6630 costs in india at the moment? N is it worth spending that extra penny for the N6630?

most def. why go for the older 6600 when you can get a faster better 6630 i've had the 6600 and it doesn't compare to the 6630.
