Hello, for those that wonder how to have a silent shutter sound when operating the camera of your K750i, the answer is just to switch the whole phone to silent mode and the shutter will be silent as well. Hope this is not posted before... |

@ andymac and doohan
With silent mode on, or ring volume set to 0, I still get shutter sound on my K750i.
My phone is EU_1 and R1J002.

My K750i is able to go silent for the camera. Maybe for the phones in Singapore, this is allowed. LOL |

when i first got my k750i it had the R1A firmware and when it was in silent mode it would still make a shutter sound when taking a picture. I later updated to the R1L firmware and now when i take picture in silent mode the camera makes no shutter sound, completely silent. |

Dear,
I want to get rid of the camera shutter sound. I currently have the firmware bellow:
R1L002
CDA102338/80 R1A
cxc125953 R1L002
EUROPE_3
My cellphone is not branded, I use Proximus as operator in Belgium.
No other Firmware supports the 'Dutch' language, but I'm willing to switch to EN if I can get rid of that annoying shutter sound.
Which firmware do you recommend to get rid of the shutter sound?(EMEA6?) Can you give me some more info on what the 'CDA' code stands for? I called my operator to get the right 'settings' from them, is that related to the CDA code? The '/80' at the end of the CDA code looks to be 'rare'. I found a list of CDA codes hee: http://www.p800.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21245&p=148609, but it doens't list my code.
Thanks in advance!

u need to flash to the eu_3 language pack - then volume ringer set to zero will silence the cam.
HOWEVER, There IS a way around it if you can't flash your language pack. For this trick you need network reception...make a call to a (preferably free) number, then start-up the cam. If you take a pic while the call is still connected, the camera won't make a single sound!! |

how do you change your language package and how do you find out what firmware is currently active on your k750i?
