There are many Mobile Phone Personalities...Which one are you?

1.) Spindle Head - The head turner looks as though his head is on a spindle. Constantly looking around. Not sure what he’s looking for, but probably wants to see how many people are watching him. “Hey, look! I have a cell phone. I’m unique.” He doesn’t realize most everyone has a phone now and no one is interested in his.

2.) Shouter - This poor soul thinks everyone is hearing challenged. His voice projects three times the normal amount needed. The shouter doesn’t realize that his phone already amplifies his voice…so no need to shout.

3.) Secret Talker - The good news is he talks quietly, but he covers the receiver and it looks like he’s delivering information for the CIA.

4.) Corporate Cliche Meister - This person uses buzzwords & cliches to impress those around him. “Well, tell Bill to keep me in the loop. We need to run this concept up the flagpole to see if anyone salutes it. The entire project represents a paradigm shift into the B2B space. This would really connect the dots and help build synergies for the stockholders. Hope we don’t get any pushback.”

5.) Useless Call Maker - A phone freak. Hardly ever off the cell phone making useless calls…one after the other. Usually on an airplane making astute comments like, “Hi, we haven’t left yet. Ok, Bye.” Or “Hi, we just landed. Ok, see you.” Duh.

6.) Crazy Talker - Well…it looks like he’s crazy. This is the walker using hands free. You see and hear him walking and talking loudly, head bobbing up and down, but there’s no one around. So naturally you either think he’s talking to you (uninvited) or you think he’s talking to himself.

7.) I Don’t CARE Where I Am or Who You Are…I Have a Phone Call to Make or Take - Makes and takes any and all calls anywhere he pleases declaring, “This land is MY land.” Funeral? Restaurant? At a play or recital? As it rings, he quickly (and insincerely) says, “Sorry about that.”

8.) Stalker - This speed dialer is directed only to YOUR cell phone. He calls you a lot just to talk. Problem is…he has the time… you don’t. (Hmmm, how do I get an unlisted cell phone number?)

9.) “My Ringtone is Better Than Your Ringtone” - Download heaven. This user has gone to great lengths to get a ringtone that is unique. They let it ring longer than normal, so you can hear this special ditty!

10.) Generic Cell Phone Ringers - One phone rings…10 people check their cell phones. (Is that mine??)

11.) Cell Phone Driver - Pick one…not both. Drive or talk. You cannot do two things well at once. (OK, use hands free.)

12.) Right Hand/Left Ear - REALLY looks uncomfortable & weird.

13.) Considerate Cell Phone User - This RARE person has a high regard for others and their personal space. When he makes or takes a phone call, he removes himself from whatever area he’s in and takes or makes the call in a private area so as not to disturb anyone.

I'm point 13.

Most of the time my phone is on silent so I don't disturb others, when I eat (restaurant or home) I don't pick up the phone when it rings (vibrate), I call them back after and things like that.

I really hate to hear those very loud 4 tones and awfull polyphonic ringtones in a calm restaurant having a great dinner, it stress me out.

Id say a mixture, i would say i dont speak loud and i dont speak on the phone when people are near by, but that is becasue i do not wish other peoplle to hear my conversation, not because i dont want to annoy them.

id say a mixture between #s 11 & 13.

#11: im not into using handsfree headsets while making calls. mostly use it in listening to mp3s.

#13: dont want to disturb other people w/ my call & also for them not to hear my conversation.
