Sorry if it's been made before, but since I have both phones, I feel encouraged to show you people the comparison between both phone cameras.
I've resized these pictures below into VGA resolution, just to have a fair comparison without uploading to many bytes, coz my internet connection is slow.
1
K750i
S700i
K750i taken pic is a bit yellowish, but sharper and has more details. I'll go for the K750i's.
2
K750i
S700i
Actually, the weather condition more look alike to the K750i's.
3
K750i
S700i
I prefer the S700i's this time.
4
K750i
S700i
Great fluorescent lightning condition (it's a very bright room): S700i is a champion! Always be.
5
K750i
S700i
naaa... S700i color reproduction is sooo wrong this time. K750i wins again.
6
K750i
S700i
ever heard CCD takes pictures with a higher level of contrast? it's true this time, BUT the shutter speed in K750i is all the way overlap the S700i's. I'll take the K750i's.
7
K750i
S700i
it's a tie... can't decide which is better.. i like them both, don't you?
8
K750i
S700i
no doubt, K750i is better!
Conclusion... no, S700i camera is not that bad comparing to K750i one, but K750i just simply takes better photos overall.
That's all, folks! Give me your comment. Pic by pic, pleae.
p.s: I don't give you any night shots comparison 'cause I think that you all already knew who's better (by a mile) at it. and umm... it has been cloudy all day so I think, I'll take photos comparison in sunny condition another time.

I think this has been done before but great pictures, and quite useful as I'm looking to get something like an S700i or a K750i - as on a budget will probably be the S7, still think it's image quality is very good.
Anyone got an image comparison between an S700 and a Nokia 6230i, both 1.3mpx?

Great job, I think this is not just a CCD vs. CMOS issue but everthing in the camera (lenses, algorithms etc.) involve. I'm looking forward for the future camera phones. The improvement is dramatic since the T630. |

Thanks for the comments, guys.
I'd just like to give us a better comparison between both phone cameras. Although it's been done before, I tried to offer better pictures, to lead us to a fairer comparison. Cause I've been heard that many people said that the S700i camera quality is much too overlapped by the K750i's, but I see that S700i is not that crap (no, it's not..) so now I'm just letting you know that.
Anyway, I do have a comment with the viewfinder display. I love K750i viewfinder display. It's amazing, looks brighter and more natural than the S700i one.
And umm... I'm affraid I toke the first image of K750i above wrong. I think, I got the white balance setting inaccurate.
From what I've experienced, the white balance setting in K750i, however, is much smarter than the S700i one. S700i sometimes get yellowish or bluish, K750i doesn't. But, I think, there's something wrong with the daylight white balance in K750i, it's just too... yellowish... looks more a cloudy setting than a daylight setting. Just my 2 cent.

I cant say ive ever had my K750i pictures being more yellow than they should, other than when using the fluorescent setting when its not needed.
S700i pictures on the other hand always seem to have a more blueish tint to them.
Also worth pointing out is that naturally the S700i's 1.3mp pictures will look slightly better than the K750i's 2mp pictures, because 1280x960 halves perfectly into VGA standard, whilst 1632x1224 does not, so pictures look slightly more ragged when resized.
Its a good comparison though, well done.

Good job! Great Pics!
I use to own a s700i. I guess one of the better features of s700i is it's screen size. Love viewing pics from the phone itself
Looking forward to some more pics.

im not trying to start a fight or anything but
i realize that the people with the k750 say that it is better, while everyone else says it is close. personally, i think its close. the one where you said it was hard to tell, i think the s700 is a littl emore clear. but they are both close. |

Both sizes have the same proportion of 1:1.33 i think. So it's fair enough.

it's mostly used by using your feeling. anyway, daylight setting is used when the sky is bright, in a sunny day. cloudy is used for example when it's gonna rain, in the afternoon, etc. flourescent is used when you're indoor of white lightning condition. incandescent is on the opposite of fluorescent.

The K750 clearly has a better lens. That is the main difference. Its pictures are of the same level of 2MP 'stand alone' camera's.
The higher contrast of the S700 makes the pictures look livelier sometimes.
That said, the S700 outperforms most other cameraphones. It makes decent pictures. I wouldn't run to the store for a K750 if a had a S700 - I'd wait for a bigger leap.
