I have a k700 for about 8 months and i have never had any problems with it. I use the phone with a PC's bluetooth dongle quite often..But last time I sent an animated GIF from the PC to the k700 and tried to display it the phone started to blink black and white.. I removed the battery but nothing's changed..It seems to be dead.

Any ideas? Is it some kind of sw failure??

Thanks!

Try removing the battery, and then put it back after a few minutes. If it won't turn on, you'd have to turn to your nearest service center!

Thanks whizkidd
I tried it, but it had no effect. I was almost sure I have to take it to a service center. Im not only curious about how to solve this problem, but what could cause it.

As far as I know, GIF files are sequenced image files without any extra information, what could go wrong?? I used an Xmicro BT device and never had any problems. But now, when I sent the GIF image for the first time it seemed to be broken (it was perfect on PC), so I erased and resent the image. After I browsed it in the Pictures folder, the phone hung.
